Think he's got the backing of the NEA?
June 5, 2008 - Christopher Renner is a Democrat candidate for the Kansas Board of Education.
Renner works as a property manager and talk show host but previously worked in education, including a stint from 1999-2002 as a program consultant with the Kansas State Department of Education.-------------
Lately, he has been taking courses in journalism at Kansas State University and hosting a public affairs show on the campus radio station.
If elected, he said he would support comprehensive sexual education, improving teacher pay, encouraging young people to go into education, easing any bureaucratic red tape preventing people from being licensed to teach and promoting changes to the federal No Child Left Behind legislation.
TT - Radio station blurb. The show is "the progressive alternative to the radio talk shows on Manhattan airwaves."
