It dates back even further. He moved to B.C. from Nova Scotia in the late 1990s, after being accused of touching students while teaching in a Nova Scotia school. The Nova Scotia College of Teachers never forwarded the accusations to B.C. when he applied to teach here. He preyed on his students here, touching their buttocks and stomachs and reading sexually explicit material to them.

The longest term he got was a 10-year firearm ban.
