The Easton Area School Board voted 7-1 to accept the resignation of high school teacher Andrea Fox.June 17 - A criminal investigation is ongoing. She taught at Easton Area High School. She had been on paid leave May 22 and was placed on unpaid leave June 5, the day an internal investigation had concluded.
The 33-year-old German teacher allegedly was caught by school officials last month accepting an invitation for sex from a 17-year-old student during a chat on her school computer, according to sources who spoke on condition of anonymity.
District Solicitor Alan McFall said the district will file a report with the state bureau of teacher licensing and standards, which will determine whether Fox's teaching license would be revoked.
