Bizarre, but, sadly, not unique.

March 14, 2008 - A Pennsylvania teacher arrested in January will stand trial, charged with 17 counts of terrorist threats against the school.

At a preliminary hearing, a judge ordered that Susan Romanyszyn, 45, to stand trial for terrorizing the elementary school where she taught.

In the course of several weeks, it is alleged that she left over a dozen threatening notes at the Warminster school. Besides the notes and writing on school walls, on another occasion school authorities found a water bottle in a fifth grader's desk that contained a white substance. Police allege Romanyszyn left nails in the teachers' parking lot, made a makeshift bomb with screws and did drawings of a gun, a machete and a pipe.

Police found her fingerprints on one of the deliberately misspelled notes.
