Surprise, ARIZONA

March 20, 2008 - Victor McPeak, Jr, 36, a fifth grade teacher at Arizona Charter Academy, was arrested on child pornography charges.

An international investigation determined McPeak had been receiving and distributing child pornography via the Internet for a few years.

According to the criminal complaint filed in federal court, "FBI received information from Europol agents regarding an investigation of a ring of people located in over 28 countries who were allegedly producing, trading, and possessing child pornography."

A website operated by an Italian National allowed customers to purchase sexual videos of children. The documents indicate McPeak made contact with the webmaster using various email addresses. He's accused of purchasing a video called "Daphne with daddy," on the site and later distributed a video depicting a nude, prepubescent female.

Court documents reveal, "McPeak, Jr. advised that he has had a sexual interest in minors for approximately five years and he has been attempting to hide his sexual interest from his 12-year old daughter. McPeak, Jr. advised that he predominately has sexually explicit images and videos of females between the ages of eight and twelve on his laptop computer. McPeak, Jr. advised that he becomes sexually aroused when viewing the sexually explicit images and videos of minors..."

SEXUAL ABUSE ALLEGED Apr 1 - Police have interviewed two children who allege they were sexually-abused by McPeak. Both children were at some point students of McPeak's and still attend the school.
Four days after McPeak's arrest, an Arizona Charter Academy student approached Principal Heather Henderson to report having had physical contact with McPeak Jr., Rody said. Henderson, along with the child's parent, then notified police of the allegation.

Last week, investigators interviewed the child, who said at least one other student also had physical contact with McPeak Jr., Rody said. The other child also was interviewed last week.
At McPeak Jr.'s March 21 detention hearing, prosecutors said the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office confiscated two laptop computers in November on suspicion that someone had used McPeak's credit card to set up a child-pornography Web site.

CONTINUED TO LOOK FOR CHILD PORN Prosecutors say McPeak Jr. bought another computer and continued his activities, which involved "looking for child pornography on the Internet two hours every night after his children's bedtime," according to U.S. District Court records. His children are age 8 and 9. They found images on his computer of minors as young as 8, according to court records.
