Feb 7, 2008 - The parents of a student are suing the Brunswick County Schools Board of Education for not doing enough to prevent Brenton Wuchae, a former South Brunswick High School teacher, from having a relationship with their daughter. The two eventually wed. The hearing was delayed due to scheduling conflicts.
Two other lawsuits involving inappropriate relationships between staff and students were filed last summer as well. Court dates for those cases have not been scheduled.
