Jan 14, 2008 - Dustin Mauldin, 25, a coach with Spavinaw Public Schools, was sentenced to two years in prison after pleading guilty to two counts of lewd molestation with a 13-year-old girl on his softball and basketball teams.
Mauldin allowed the girl to touch his penis on the outside of his clothing on at least two occasions.
Mauldin was charged in March 2007. School officials discovered the allegations and informed police. He resigned after the allegations surfaced.
The judge sentenced Mauldin to two years on both counts, to run concurrently. After being released from prison, Mauldin will begin serving eight years of probation and will have to register as a sex offender.
