Sentenced to 10 years in prison. Registration as a sexual predator that will require registration every 90 days for life.
Jan 15, 2008 - Stephen Majercik, 59, was arrested, accused of in
appropriate contact with a student at the high school.
He has been charged with unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, illegal use of minor in nudity oriented material, sexual battery and pandering obscenity with minors. He has been suspended indefinitely from St. Peter Chanel High School.
"I do believe there are other victims and certainly any other victims that have any knowledge of any conduct that's improper regarding this gentleman, we would certainly like you to call us at the police department." said Chief Buck.A pretrial is scheduled for Jan 16.

GUILTY PLEA March 15 - Majercik pleaded guilty to to multiple counts of illegal use of a minor in nude material and pandering sexual material involving a minor and single counts of sexual battery and unlawful sexual conduct with a minor. blockquote>
Prosecutor Sherri Bevan Walsh said Majercik admitted to having sexual contact with the girl. Police seized a computer from his home and discovered images of children in various stages of nudity. Some of the images depicted sexual acts.He will be classified as a Tier III sex offender, which requires him to register as a sex offender every 90 days for life. He will be sentenced April 22.

SENTENCED April 22 - Majercik was sentenced to 10 years in prison Tuesday and labeled a sexual predator. Sexual predators are required to register every 90 days for life. He was 57 and the girl was 12. Judge Patricia Cosgrove chastised Majercik.
Cosgrove went on to say, "In the psychological report at one point in time, you say that you loved her and you loved the woman that she'd become. She's not a woman. She is 14 years old. What kind of sentence do you hand out to someone who has made a child of 14 hate herself, hate the world, hate God, hate her school? Clearly, you took her innocence."
