June 2, 2007 - Andres “Andy”Villasana, 35, a Sinton High School varsity softball coach and geography teacher, was arrested on charges of an improper relationship between an educator and a 18-year-old female student.
He resigned after his arrest. Reportedly, he is married with two children.
Since 2003, it has been illegal for teachers to have a sexual relationship with students, no matter their age.
