June 30, 2007 - An inmate at California Institution for Men received an associate of arts degree in business through a distance learning program. Thirty inmates received their Graduate Equivalency Degrees (GEDs).

"I'm working on my bachelor's and will try to get my master's when I get out," he said, adding that he would like to become a teacher.
