Oct 25, 2006 - Harold Stancliffe, 59, high school referee who worked for "about a decade" in Westmoreland Co. and Pittsburg's eastern suburbs as a baseball, football and basketball coach, pleaded guilty to receiving child pornography and a weapons charge. [Emphasis mine.]
Authorities said Mr. Stancliffe was also found with a handgun, which he was prohibited from owning because of previous robbery and insurance fraud convictions.No media followup.
Feb 2: An October U.S. Attorney's office press release noted that Stancliffe was to be sentenced on Feb 2, 2007. No news stories.
Mar 10 - Stancliffe was sentenced to eight years.
