BOND SET October 27, 2008 - Bond was set at $100,000 for Rebecca Daniels, 37, a teacher at Perspectives Charter Calumet High School. Daniels is facing charges for allegedly sexually assaulting at least one male student.
A school official said the allegations were reported to police and the Department of Children and Family Services on Thursday, and Daniels has been suspended.

A white drama teacher at Calumet Perspective High School on the South Side was charged last week with three felonies after allegedly sleeping with three Black teenage boys.Daniels allegedly had a sexual relationship with two 16 year olds and one 15 year old during the summer.
According to Tandra Simonton, a spokeswoman for the Cook County State’s Attorney Office, Rebecca Daniels, 37, was charged with one count of aggravated criminal sexual assault and two counts of criminal sexual assault.Malon Edwards, a spokesman for Chicago Public Schools, said Calumet is a charter school and not operated by CPS.
