Walterboro, SOUTH CAROLINA

August 1, 2008 - Ralph Waye, 42, school bus driver and math tutor at Colleton County High School,, was arrested on charges of second-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor and lewd act with a minor.

A 14-year-old girl told the school nurse May 28 that she had been sexually assaulted by Waye. The school resource officer was contacted and the investigation began. The girl is not a student at the school.
