Anonymity Guaranteed

Is this Washington state?

August 1, 2008 - While the Washington Supreme Court is making darn certain that the public does not know of the misdeeds of teachers and school districts, Iceland is one step ahead.

The Iceland Review doesn't even name the Reykjavík University professor sentenced to four years in prison "for sexual violations against two of his daughters, his stepdaughter and four of their friends."

You might think it is because they don't want to identify the daughters. But the newspaper doesn't identify "an Icelandic man in his twenties" who was sentenced after arriving at Keflavík International Airport from Copenhagen with 200 grams of cocaine inside his clothes and inside his body.

It's a European thing, something you bloody well don't expect from an American court.
