Elon, NORTH CAROLINA

Leslie Troup, 23, a teacher's aide at Western Alamance High School, was arrested and has been charged with charged with four counts of providing alcohol to people under the age of 21 and nine counts of sexual offense with a student by school personnel.

She is accused of committing a sexual offense against an 18-year-old male student at the school. (He was under 18 when the initial offense occured.)

An April 19 investigation resulted in underage drinking charges against nine students at the school which lead to the investigation of Troup. Troup left the Alamance-Burlington School System before the charges were filed against her. She was being held on a $1 million bond.
