Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd said today, "It's painfully obvious to us that she's a pedophile."

June 5, 2008 - Danielle Jones, 32, a Stambaugh Middle School 6th-grade science teacher, was arrested and charged with sexually assaulting four male students between ages 14 and 16 years old. The victims were black; Jones is white as seen in the picture here and in this video. (We got the picture later.)

The sheriff says the five would communicate over Myspace.

Judd says Jones refered the victims as "her boys," in 50 pages of emails seized through a search warant.

Judd said, at a lunchtime news conference, Jones would have threesomes with some of the victims. One victim told detectives Jones had sex with two boys ten times in one night. There were a total of five different sexual meetings, according to deputies. In each case, Jones would allegedly pick the victims up and drive them to her house for the liasons.

FOX13: Detectives believe a fifth boy may also be involved, but he has not been named. The sexual relationships came to light when one of the first boys involved with Jones told another teacher about it on May 16 of this year.

LETTER OF REPRIMAND June 6 - Polk Teacher Charged With Sex With Teen Boys
There was a letter of reprimand in Jones' file.

It has come to my attention, and to the attention of Mr. Chuck Smith, investigator for the Polk County School Board, that you have allegedly established a pattern of allowing young male students, some of whom you do not currently teach, to enter your classroom before, during and after school hours for visitation, hugs, tickles and flirtatious non-school related conversations,"[Stambaugh Principal Allison] Kalbfleisch wrote in a Jan. 23 letter to Jones.

"I insist that you never have casual, non-school-related physical or verbal contact with any student on campus whom you do or do not currently teach."

"In addition, I insist that you are never alone in a classroom with any male students."

It was written five months after the alleged relationships that led to her arrest. Four months after the reprimand, Jones was arrested.

Jones' arrest comes after two Polk county teachers and a principal were arrested on sex-related charges.

A student found a thumb drive with the child pornography in the school's computer lab. Prosecutors say Mason did not have a permanent address before he was hired and was moving from hotel room to hotel room.
