Remember Mr. Beaty? Time to update those yearbooks.

May 30, 2008 - John Beaty, 72, a retired teacher and principal at Martinsville High School, was arrested on three counts of sexual misconduct with a minor. Police say he had a sexual relationship with a 14-year-old boy.

Beaty admitted to having oral sex with the boy for the past few months. Beaty told police he met the boy two times in an abandoned house in Terre Haute, where the two would perform oral sex on each other.

Next court date is June 17.

Police are looking for the mother of the boy. She allegedly asked Beatty for money in return for keeping quiet.
June 2 - Mom accused of bribery arrested

BOND June 19 - Beaty was released on bail after a judge pro tem lowered his bond from $75,000, with no 10% allowed, to $50,000 with 10% allowed, meaning Beaty had to pay $5,000 to get out of jail. Beaty is set to go to trial November 17
