Teachers, principals, coaches, substitutes, interns, teacher's aides, janitors, now a bus driver having sex with a student.
May 30, 2008 - Paula Tomlin, 36, a part-time teacher's aide and a 
bus driver for Staunton City Schools, was arrested, accused of having a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old student.
Tomlin is charged with seven counts of indecent liberties with a child by a person in a supervisory role. Police say the victim is a 16-year-old boy who attends classes at the Genesis Alternative School. They say he and Tomlin began a sexual relationship about three weeks ago.

An adult acquaintance of Tomlin’s informed school authorities of the situation at noon Wednesday, [Superintendent Steven] Nichols said. By 3:00 p.m., they were sufficiently confident of wrongdoing to inform police. Tomlin was arrested Thursday following the completion of her bus route, and resigned from her position at the school before the charges against her were filed, Nichols said.Both initially denied the relationship before confessing. They both said they were in love.
