Ronald Nichols, 37, a math teacher at Grace Baptist School, was arrested for having sexual contact with 13-year-old student. He was charged with sexual battery by an authority figure.
He's due in court next week.Investigators Nichols went to the South-East Shelby County home of one of his female students last Friday afternoon. No one but the girl was at home during the teacher's visit.
According to Shelby County deputies, the girl told Deputies Nichols is her math teacher and that during their visit he kissed and fondled her.
