March 10, 2008 - Bree Holloway, 33, a teacher's aide at Bluffton Middle School, was arrested and charged with stealing money from a teacher at the middle school.
Police set up a survelliance camera after two teachers reported money stolen from their purses. Sgt. Steve Cale set up th e camera in one of the teachers’ classrooms with permission from school officials and gave one of the teachers three $20 bills that he had copied the serial numbers.
The camera was set up in the classroom for about four weeks. Finally, on Friday, the teacher reported two of the three $20 bills were missing.
“We then pulled the video and saw clearly the suspect stealing the money,” said Cale.
