Jan 22, 2008 - Eric W. Thomas, 28, a caoch at Ravenna High School, was arrested on charges of rape, aggravated burglary and felonious assault.
The report indicates Thomas allegedly kicked in the door of a Ravenna residence, assaulted a male at the home and then raped an adult female at the home.
INDICTED Jan 28 - Thomas was indicted by a grand jury on felony charges of rape, aggravated burglary and felonious assault. The male victim was hospitalized briefly for treatment of multiple fractures to his nose, jaw and eye socket.
Superintendent Tim Calfee said previously Thomas is not a teacher in the school district and was hired this season on a one-year supplemental contract. He has coached in the district for about three years.
