how about all the teachers that are falsely charged? I didn't see their information on your site. When you report news, why don't you report it fairly instead of being one sided? How about the incompetent principals, why is it that they are hidden away as if they do nothing wrong?Hard to know where to begin.
We report news stories as they are published. Most news stories are based upon presentation of facts. Most information about the arrest of teachers comes directly from press releases from law enforcement. After that, we follow up to see what legal action has been taken and then follow the results. Again, relying upon published new stories.
As for teachers that are falsely charged, if you know of any let us know. Because we don't know of any. It's one of those comforting myths to educators that simply is not supported by public record.
Few teachers are falsely accused of sexual impropriety. For one, the police and the district attorney's office investigate all accusations before any charges are filed. The result is that when an arrest is made and reported, the witnesses have already been vetted. It is then up to jury to decide whether the prosecution has made a case against the teacher.
As for principals, we report the stories when we find them. If we miss one, send us the link. As far as we know, incompetence isn't a crime.
