The Davis settlement has been one of two cases central to the school board's recent debate over freedom of information and, specifically, what it can keep secret from the public.TT - We're still wondering why the school district was liable.
The district recently settled for $4.6 million with six victims of former Coosa Elementary School teacher Philip Underwood-Sheppard, who was sentenced to 25 years in prison for molesting at least nine students ages 6 to 13.
