Sept 12, 2007 - Stanley Deloach, 48, a teacher at Middle School, is accused of soliciting sex from an undercover agent online and having sexually explicit materials involving children.

The agent posed as a 14-year-old girl. Allegedly, he showed pictures of what he claimed to be his own genitalia and asked the decoy to engage in sex acts with him. His case will be heard by a Grand Jury on Oct 15.

DeLoach is married with children. He is being held without bond.

INDICTED Oct 15 - A grand jury indicted DeLoach on two child pornography-related charges. His next court appearance for “superbomb50” is Nov 7.

Odd note: DeLoach resigned June 7, but not because of allegations of child pornography. The school system was not aware of the allegations at the time of Deloach’s resignation, Blevins said.
“We were dealing with him on something else,” he said.

NEW FELONY INDICTMENTS Oct 23 - The grand jury handed down 10 new felony indictments that include, three counts of taking indecent liberties with a minor; two counts of publication, sale and possession with intent to distribute a sexually explicit item involving children; and five counts of using a communication system to facilitate certain offenses involving children. Those are in ADDITION to the previous two indictments.
He will appear in court Nov 7.

ARRAIGNMENT SCHEDULED Feb 20, 2008 - DeLoach will be arraigned March 25 on 12 felony charges related to child pornography.

ARRAIGNMENT CONTINUED March 25 - Culpeper County Circuit Court Judge John R. Cullen accepted a motion this morning to continue the case of Stanley W. Deloach Jr. to April 21. Prosecutors did not object.

GRAND JURY April 21 - DeLoach's case is on the docket of the April term of the Culpeper County Circuit Court, set to begin Monday. The case is being tried locally because the investigation originated with the Culpeper division of the State Police.

GUILTY PLEA May 7 - DeLoach pleaded guilty Wednesday afternoon to 12 felony child pornography charges. The judge ordered chat transcripts, photographs and other digital evidence submitted to the court by Culpeper County Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney Paul Walther be sealed due to their pornographic nature.

Curiously, under the plea agreement, Deloach will not face further charges based on the facts of this case. Deloach will return to court Aug. 5 for sentencing.
