Sept 12, 2007 - Koby Murray, 41, a reading specialist and special education teacher at West High School, was arrested and is facing a felony charge of fraudulently obtaining dangerous drugs.

She was arrested at a local pharmacy when pharmacy personnel became suspicious.

Sept 12 - Murray appeared in court via a video link from the jail. She was ordered to appear for arraignment and released without bond. She is on paid leave.
Jan 14, 2008 - Murray pleaded not guilty to four counts of fraudulently obtaining dangerous drugs. At her initial arraignment Murray pleaded not guilty to a single felony drug charge. Prosecutors allege that Murray called in prescriptions for the pain medication hydrocodone to the same pharmacy using a fictitious name on Sept. 1, 4, 7 and 10.
