August 7, 2007 - Juan Cruz, 22, an elementary school teacher, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana in the second degree.
A friend was also arrested.
[Ozark deputy police chief Myron] Williams said the two men were smoking at the time Ozark police drug agents entered the residence in response to complaints of drug activity there. Agents also observed other drug paraphernalia, according to an Ozark police report.August 16 - Cruz has been placed on administrative leave. He has a September 19 court date. Cruz had not reported to the first day of school on Monday or by 9 a.m. Tuesday. He's a first year teacher.
