Supervised release means constant monitoring, including polygraphs.

Apr 27, 2007 - Keith Akana, a Waiau Elementary teacher who served time in federal prison for possession of child pornography is back in jail on weekends for violating the terms of his supervised release.

After two polygraph tests ordered by the U.S. Probation Office, Akana admitted to viewing pornographic material online, failed to notify the probation officer about it and had online contact with a minor. The judge revoked his supervised release and placed him on 30 months of supervised release and 100 days' incarceration, to be served on 50 consecutive weekends at the federal detention center.

Akana was initially sentenced in July 2003 to 46 months' imprisonment with three years of supervised release. The sentence was later reduced to 32 months
