Feb 26, 2007 - A report on the moral character of teachers isn't encouraging.
Last year, 134 cases were brought to a subcommittee that decides if teachers in trouble get to keep their certification.[TT - no link to the report.]
That's 28 more than the year before, and almost twice as many as five years ago.
Those cases run the gamut, both criminal and non-criminal, but the bulk have to do with arson, child pornography, drugs, endangering, and larceny.
