The alleged relationship came to light last month after a witness working in the school after hours Dec. 4 reported seeing the girl emerge from a room where Roberts had been seen changing his clothes a short time earlier, according to the charging papers.He has been suspended. He is being held without bond. His pregnant wife was in the courtroom when he was charged.
Washington Post calls him an "educator."

Update Apr 13 - Roberts was acquitted of having sex with a 13-year-old student. He was held without bail since January. Since that time, his wife gave birth to a son - now 2 months old.
