Cherry Hill, PENNSYLVANIA

Jan 25 - 2007 - Daniel Rice, 45, was arrested, accused of molesting a teenager. Authorities said Rice fondled the youth, now in his early 20s, over a two-year period. It's not the first time.

Rice, who was a substitute teacher and basketball coach between 1987 and 1989, gave "physical examinations" to students at the Woodland School in Barrington. Rice told students he was checking them for hernias, and ordered them not to tell anyone about the exams. One eventually told a parent.
He was sentenced to 10 years but only served three years - from March 1992 through January 1995.

He president of the Cherry Hill Stealers youth baseball league until July 2006 when he resigned after his arrest for failing to register with police as a sex offender. (Though he had lived in Cherry Hill since 2001, he had not informed township police as required by Megan's Law.)
In October, he received five years' probation for failing to register as part of a plea agreement.

6ABC reports: Rice is the married father of a teenage son.
