San Diego, CALIFORNIA

Nov 29, 2006 - Elementary school teacher Paul Stewart Nelson, 24, was sentenced to one year in custody (that he will be allowed to serve in a work furlough program) and ordered to register as a sex offender.

He was arrested in an internet sting after sending a lewd video of himself to a what he thought was a 13-year old girl.

Purpose

Most teachers are professionals who cherish their vocation and their students. They serve tirelessly to promote learning because they are professionals. They do not abuse the trust of parents, or students, or society.

The purpose of this site is to gather news stories about teachers, educational reform and education issues. There are a distressing number of problems in our education system in every state.
