Although he had sex with a 15-year-old girl, a man in upstate New York won't be going jail. Instead, he'll be going to Canada, and staying there for a while.Malcolm Watson, 35, a Buffalo Seminary teacher agreed to a deal to leave the U.S. for three years after pleading guilty to endangering a child and third-degree sexual abuse -- both misdemeanors -- for having sex with a 15-year old female student.
Buffalo Seminary is a college preparatory school for girls in Buffalo, New York. Watson wasdescribed in the Buffalo News as a "popular English teacher who was charman of his department" Watson was fired the day after his arrest. They note that "he must register with the state as a Level One sex offender and will remain on the list for 20 years."
