Remember Mrs. Baird? SHE'S NOT DEAD!

Jan 30, 2008 - Ingerberth Baird, 38, was tried in federal court and was convicted of one count of conspiracy for faking the death of his wife, Nicholette Baird.

Nicholette was an elementary school teacher at Joseph Martin Elementary School in Hinesville who was reported to have died in Trinidad in 2002. Her husband received over $100,000 in death benefits. Over the course of October and November, 2002, Ingerberth Baird wrote numerous checks that totally depleted the entire account.

In April 2003, thne FBI located Ingerberth Baird and Nicolette Baird, alive, living together in Cunupia, Trinidad. He was extradicted in June 2007.
