Fayetteville, NORTH CAROLINA

Feb 4, 2008 - Tarsha Cole, 36, a school bus driver, was charged after she allegedly stole a credit card from a teacher's purse at Cape Fear High School. Cole charged more than $2,500 buying items at a local toy store and paying bills. She maxed out the card's credit limit, and the card company denied more charges.

Deputies discovered cocaine and a firearm while searching the home Cole shared with her boyfriend. Both Cole and McDonald were charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine, manufacture of cocaine and maintaining a dwelling for the sale and delivery of cocaine.

He was charged with charged with possession of a firearm by a felon.

TT - After Googling her, we found a 1993 story that reported that gunshots had been fired into Cole's mobile home and had wounded her 11-year-old daughter. Three other children -- ages 5, 12, and 3 months -- were in her residence at the time of shooting. Her "boyfriend" was living with her even then and after a dispute with a neighbor, the neighbor's house was set on fire.
