Oct 2, 2007 - Scott Reese, 36, assistant principal at Longwood Senior High School, pleaded not guilty to the misdemeanor charge of driving while intoxicated.
The incident appears to be Reese's second alcohol-related arrest. Records show a man named Scott Reese with the same birth date pleaded guilty in 1997 to operating a vehicle with ability impaired by alcohol, an infraction. His license was suspended for 90 days and he was sentenced to 15 days in jail and fined $300.Reese slammed his car into a highway patrol car parked on the left shoulder of the highway, injuring a Highway Patrol officer who was airlifted to Stony Brook Medical Center and released that night with some tissue damage and neck and back soreness.
Reese was arrested at the scene.
