He "agreed" to resign and surrender his teaching license.


July 31, 2007 - Scott Fazekas, 28, a math teacher at Marion Harding High School, pleaded guilty to menacing by stalking and sexual imposition in connection to unwanted sexual contact with a 16-year-old female student.

Fazekas is charged with “unwanted and inappropriate conduct” with a student last fall that includes remarks of a sexual nature and improper touching.

As part of a plea agreement, Fazekas agreed to resign from his teaching position, surrender his state teaching license and register as a sex offender.

No sentencing date given.

WBNS Channel 10 reports that the girl was assigned as a teacher's aide. The school superintendent said there may have been other students who felt uncomfortable.

SENTENCED: Oct 2, 2007 - Fazekas was sentenced to 25 days at the Multi-County Correctional Center and will be under community controlled sanctions for the next three years. He must also register as a a sexually-orientated offender.

There was a tense moment in court when the victim's mother let out a sob as Fazekas talked about the hardship his family has experienced since the allegations began and was promptly told to "shut up" by one of his supporters.
