Heather Ovalles, a third grade special education teacher, was arrested on pot growing charges when police went to the home she shared with gunman, Shawn 
Creamer. Creamer committed suicide after two Titusville shootings.
Ovalles told investigators her boyfriend set up the operation six months ago to "ease financial burdens" and that she just watered the plants and turned on the grow lights.Police found three handguns in her home.

GUILTY PLEA AND SENTENCING Dec 18 - After pleading guilty to manufacturing the drug, Ovalles was sentenced to two years' probation. The conviction won't show up on her record.
The third-degree felony carries a maximum punishment of five years in prison, but prosecutors said Ovalles' sentence fell strictly within sentencing guidelines because she had no prior criminal history. Prosecutors did not pursue a firearms possession charge for three handguns police found in Ovalles' bedroom because the weapons were later determined to have belonged to Creamer.
