May 16, 2008 - Susan Siegel, 53, a long-term substitute teacher Governor Mifflin High School was arrested after she bought marijuana from an undercover Berks County detective in the parking lot of a Reading diner after arranging the deal with a student, investigators said today.

Detectives set up the deal after a male student reported that Siegel called him out into the hallway during the class Wednesday and asked if he could get her one-half ounce of marijuana.

Siegel said she would give him vodka for helping arrange the deal.

Siegel, who had been teaching the class for about a month, offered to give the student vodka for helping get the drug.
