This is the 5th teacher arrested for child pornography this week. Three other teachers were sentenced this week in Arkansas, Florida and Pennsylvania on child pornography charges. Another teacher in Florida pleaded guilty and another in California was indicted on child pornography charges.

April 12, 2008 -
James Meyer, 48, a long-time substitute teacher, was arrested for possession of child pornography, possession for sales of narcotics and possession of paraphernalia. a case stemming from a two-year investigation by police.
Police believe Meyer exposed himself in 2006 to boys between the ages of 9 and 11. He was identified by the victims in a photo lineup.
The suspect was a substitute teacher in the San Ramon Valley School District. It is believed that Meyer has taught at other schools in the East Bay and North Bay since 1982.
