Miami, FLORIDA

Feb 1, 2008 - Elizabeth Saks, 33, an ESOL** teacher at Snapper Creek Elementary School, was arrested, along with her sister, and charged with grand theft, scheme to defraud, tampering with physical evidence and a criminal use of personal information.

Saks reported to police this week that someone had bought a car in her name in November. She alleged identity theft despite knowing that her sister had used her identity and the whereabouts of the car.

Saks will be reassigned pending the outcome of the criminal case.
