Nov 13, 2007 - An unannounced drug sweep at Mansfield Senior High School resulted in the arrest of two students. Six police dogs searched all 1,500 lockers at the high school.
Drugs were only found in one locker and found to be the possession of the two arrested students.
However, this was a bizarre note: “Each teacher initially had a garbage bag on his or her desk and told the students they would step out of the room for 90 seconds and students could put whatever contraband they had inside with no questions asked,” he said. “In the bags we got a knife, lots of cigarettes, tons of lighters, two bags of marijuana, a can of (smokeless chewing tobacco) and some unknown pills.
Defeats the purpose of a drug sweep, doesn't it?
