New Brunswick, NEW JERSEY

The irony of it is that they suspended him - with pay.

August 17, 2007 - Stanley Williams, 55, a special education teacher at New Brunswick High School, was charged with using a stolen and forged prescription blank containing a doctor's note to justify his excessive absences to the New Brunswick Board of Education.

His arraignment is scheduled for September 4.

TT - There's another irony as well.

The New Brunswick School District has a Health Services Department that "provides comprehensive nursing care to all students and staff in the district. Each school building has at least one full time certified school nurse to provide health care services to students and staff. The Lord Stirling Community School has a dental clinic on site to provide services to students at that school in need of dental care. The goal is to expand this program to other schools in the district within the next few years."
