August 1, 2007 - A soccer coach (whose name was given), no age given, described as "a valley teacher and coach," (school unspecified) will be going to trial next week on unexplained harassment charges. He was arrested a year after an argument on campus. He was charged with misdemeanor harassment.

The potential witness list tops 40. The news story quoted the lawyer two times. And the news station says, "Whatever the allegation, a jury will ultimately judge what happened on campus. "

TT - One of the reasons we don't report on coach stories that involve non-sexual harassment or minor charges of abuse is that so often they are unfounded. Most sports involve contact of some sort and conditioning the player for contact is part of coaching. But the vagueness of this story was unique.
