June 30, 2007 - BEHIND BARS (AGAIN) Tammie Lee Reed is behind bars for the fifth time in less than two years. She lied to the judge when asking for permission to leave the state for her daughter's wedding. It was a lie. Her daughter has no plans to marry and reportedly, Reed is not supposed to contact the girl.

Not that they'll do anything remotely responsible like put Reed in jail for a long time.

Background: Reed was an elementary school teacher who was arrested in 2005. At the end of 2006 she still hadn't been tried, despite two additional arrests. Even her bailbondsman revoked her bond. She finally pleaded guilty in April 2007 but two days after her release she was arrested again after failing a drug test. When she was finally sentenced in June 2007, it was to four years' probation.
