May 3, 2007 - Wayne Morgan Jr, 51, a Friends University associate vice president of academic affairs, was fired after his arrest in an Internet sex sting when he allegedly went to have sex with what he thought was a 14-year-old girl.

He was arraigned and charged with electronic solicitation and was released on $10,000 bond.

Morgan worked at Hutchinson Community College from 1990 to about 2004, first as a chemistry instructor and later as assessment director. He then went to Sterling College in Rice County as coordinator of teacher education and later as interim vice president of academic affairs.
