Nashville, TENNESSEE

May 24, 2007 - Ronald D. Huff, a teacher at Hunter’s Lane High School, was charged with disorderly conduct after a sexual encounter in a restroom at the JC Penney store. Police were called to investigate and they found Huff “engaged in mutual masturbation” with another man.

Huff also was charged with criminal impersonation after giving police in Williamson County a false name, date of birth and Social Security number, according to a court affidavit.

The Metro School Board upheld a dismissal request Wednesday.

Metro Nashville Public Schools officials said that this type of conduct is typically grounds for dismissal because it has the potential to affect children in the classroom. Huff still may request a hearing to object to the dismissal charges.
