SENTENCED Apr 10, 2007 - Marvin King, 48, a band teacher, pleaded guilty to a charge of distributing harmful material to a minor and was sentenced to 12 months probation. He sent nude pictures via cell phone to a 16-year-old female student.
King taught at Eagle’s Landing Middle School. He resigned in October 2005 after a witness who saw the pictures informed school officials. King was arrested Oct. 31, 2005, and indicted in February of this year on the misdemeanor charge.

King will not be allowed to teach during probation and must serve 100 hours community service, continue counseling and stay away from the girl and her family, court records show.
