Pervert used a job as a teacher's aide to gain access to young boys.

SENTENCED Apr 12, 2007 - Nicholas Shur, 20, was sentenced to 10 years in prison for molesting three young children.

He pleaded guilty molesting three boys ages 10 and under. Prosecutors said Shur used a job as a YMCA counselor and a teacher’s aide to gain access to young boys.

Apr 13 - North County Coastal Times: Shur was also a camp counselor. His youngest victim was 6 years old. The other two boys were ages 9 and 7. He also admitted to substantial sexual conduct with the 6 year old.

One of the boys was molested by Shur when he was an aide at a school in the Solana Beach School District.

Since Shur's conviction is for violent felonies, state law requires that he serve at least 85 percent of his sentence -- 8 1/2 years -- before he is eligible for parole. Shur must register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.
