Mar 3, 2007 - Sharon Daniels, 49, was sentenced to ten years for murder. The sentence came nearly eight months after her murder conviction in the shooting death of her husband, David Earl Daniels.
A jury convicted the teacher at Jodie McClure Elementary School but could not decide on the punishment, resulting in a hung jury. Her husband was a Kilgore school bus driver and pastor of Fredonia Baptist Church near Tatum.
