Feb 6, 2007 -Paul Pumphrey, 29, a special-education paraprofessional at Marcellus High School, was sentenced to three to 15 years in prison for sexually abusing a special-education student in May 2005. The boy was 15-years-old.
Pumphrey was charged with criminal sexual conduct after he was caught in a bedroom at the boy's house by his mother's boyfriend. Pumphrey had bribed the boy to keep quiet about the incidents.
Pumphrey pleaded no contest Jan 8. He must register as a sex offender.
